Referrals

If you are a patient, please ask your medical practitioner to refer via the secure clinical referral pages on the left. You must formally consent to your personal information being transferred to our team via the secure referral form.

Referrals via the secure links satisfy requirements of GDPR, set out by ICO, GMC and Healthcare Improvement Scotland.

Referrals will be accepted directly from medical practitioners (GP’s/Doctors with GMC accreditation) or from other allied medical specialties with the appropriate qualifications (Physiotherapists, Chiropractors, Osteopaths and Podiatrists etc).

Insured and self funding patients are welcome although please be aware that an authorisation code may be required from your insurer.

All referrals are vetted. Any request involving ionising radiation will only be accepted if justified in accordance with the IRMER guidelines. We will advise you if a request is not appropriate and may suggest a better alternative investigation.

In order to expedite care, the report will be provided by the next available consultant available (unless a specified consultant is requested).
