Imaging Facilities

All imaging is provided by the The University of Edinburgh Research MRI, Edinburgh Spire Hospitals and Edinburgh Nuffield on state of the art MRI machines, multi-slice CT scanners, high definition Ultrasound and modern X-ray/DEXA and Fluoroscopy units.

Edinburgh University provides 3T MRI imaging on 2 research scanners located at the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh.

The Spire has two hospitals in Edinburgh located in Murrayfield and at Shawfair Park.

Both Murrayfield and Shawfair Park have a 1.5T MRI, Ultrasound, Fluoroscopy and X-ray facilities. Murrayfield also has a multi-slice CT scanner.

Nuffield Edinburgh is located in Colinton and has a 1.5T MRI, Multi-slice CT, Ultrasound, DEXA, fluoroscopy and X-ray facilities.
